Senior Data Scientist
One of the most prominent manufacturing companies in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking for a Data Scientist, to stimulate the organic growth of the organization by leveraging data and advanced analytics. Their products cross over to various industries such as automotive, defense & military, and aerospace. This scientist will be designing complex strategic challenges into relevant analytical frameworks. The tools this person should be proficient with is Python, R and machine learning is a must, and having experience working in a cloudera is a plus. Having a basic understanding of big data tools such as Hadoop or Hive will put you in a good position for the upcoming changes within their data department.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years as a Data Engineer
- Detail oriented
- Strong Python programming skills
- Must have a PhD

- 50% Implementing Statistical Frameworks and Machine Learning tools
