Are Office 365 and Active Directory two tools that pop-up continuously on your resume? If so, this could be the position for you. This client is looking for an experience Windows Engineer who is ready to help with the major transition from Exchange to Office 365. The client is worried about potential Security breaches associated with this transition, so they need you to help them keep the transition as secure as possible.
Office 365 and Active Directory are great skills to have, but they are not enough on their own. Because the transition is what you will be working on, this candidate should also have pretty extensive knowledge of Exchange servers. The role will also require a strong understanding of the virtualization tool VMWare.
Besides these requirements, the client is hoping that the candidate will have a basic understanding of scripting languages (particularly Powershell, Ruby, or Python). It would also be helpful for the candidate to have some previous work with the containerization tool Docker.
