Windows Engineer (New Data Center in North Dallas)
A Senior Windows Engineer is needed by a software product company building out a new office in Plano! The company offers services and platforms for security specific to IoT based technology.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a Windows environment, preferably in a data center. Applicants should come from a diverse jack of all trades background, preferably managing Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, IIS and SQL servers. Their environment is virtualized in VMware, and candidates with experience automating virtualization is a plus. This person will also help with disaster recovery and storage; they’re implementing Nutanix but experience with Nimble, Dell, or EMC is ok. Networking experience is a plus as well, as you’ll likely manage some LAN/WAN configurations and Cisco ASA firewalls. Powershell scripting experience is a plus as well, since you’ll automate operational server tasks and write server commands.
