Senior Product Designer

A dominating player in the financial services vertical located in Toronto is currently expanding their product development team. They are currently looking for an exceptional UI/UX designer to add to their rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate/s would be someone who significant experiencing designing enterprise. The candidate person should be passionate about learning/using the latest design trends and styles and excited to work on complex problems with a top tier team.  This UX Engineer will work and re-establish the design process while creating interaction models, user flows, wire frames and prototypes. In addition to, the right candidate will conduct user experience research and usability studies while creating creative solutions to challenging UX problems by reducing complex workflows to simple flows and delightful experiences. It would be a HUGE plus if this person has coding experience and is able to create working prototypes using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Further, you will be collaborative, a team player and cross-functionally work with product managers and engineers.

  Required Skills

·         Several years of experience designing/developing, wire-framing, prototyping and iterating great products.

·         Experience working with users and engineers to create interactive designs.

·         Prior experience creating working prototypes using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5

·         Obsess over design and interaction details.

·         Ability to translate feedback and data into interactive prototypes and wireframes.

·         Strong portfolio showcasing favorite work and design process, specifically in wire-framing and white boarding.

·         Participation in the UX community and knowledge of front-end code, basic visual principles.

·         Understanding of the full visual design process and is strong and detail oriented.

·         Excellent leadership, communication and team building skills.
