This afternoon we had the pleasure of congratulating Ely on his new tech position in NYC! Ely came into our office last Wednesday and was offered a new positon Wednesday of this week!
That's only 5 business days from when he walked into our office! Our Open-Source team got him out on interviews back to back from the day he met with the team.
Drew Sussberg was ultimately able to help place Ely in a company whose culture and passion for technology was EXACTLY what Ely was looking for. We're rooting him on and wishing him all the BEST in his new position! #WorkbridgeWorks
Workbridge San Jose welcomes its newest recruiter, Andrew Koike!!
Andrew is a graduate of Santa Clara University where he majored in Sociology and Religious Studies. He loves living in the Bay Area after being up here for the past four years and is excited to be working in the Mobile and QA team.
If you want to chat with Andrew about the Mobile Tech Market here in Silicon Valley, he can be reached at: (408) 295-9400 or [email protected]
Last Friday, lead recruiter Felipe Estrela celebrated his two-year anniversary here at Workbridge Boston, and with that, his 30th placement-- and he's no where near finished.
This week, he, his pink shirt, and his smile were well-prepared for the Recruiter Spotlight.
Felipe was born and raised in Somerville, MA before attending Connecticut College. Between then and now, he lived in Taiwan for a year and South Korea for two, and taught English in both countries. He also got married, came to Workbridge, and is now a father of twins. It's been a crazy time for Felipe, to say the least. "I'm excited! I got this job [two years ago] and have been excited and enthusiastic about it ever since," he exclaims.
Since coming to Workbridge, Felipe feels that he's become "a lot more responsible, a lot more organized, and a lot more confident."
On the .NET team, Felipe works with "definitely really cool companies," clients ranging from Fortune 500's all the way to small start-ups. And while he loves helping clients bulild their companies further, Felipe feels that the most rewarding thing about his job is finding candidates new opportunities. His goal for this year is to accomplish thirty more placements in this year alone. "I set those goals for myself, absolutely. I'm looking onward and upward," he concludes.
"This is a big deal because these are their lives; these are their jobs. I placed a guy who was moving here from Iran, and he was able to get his whole family here, buy a car, get an apartment... he was able to do all that because I was able to find him his new job, that he loves. I love helping people." - Felipe Estrela
We're wishing a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Blake Williams here at Workbridge NYC! Blake is the Practice Manager for the infrastructure team and absolutely HATES celebrating his birthday (No one knew his birthday until now)!
However, his wonderful and clever boss, Drew Sussberg thought this chocolate cake with pink flowers and icing would brighten his mood regarding this day!
Happy Birthday Blake!

Much like The Network Infrastracture team did in LA, the Open Source Team here in Orange County got to spend some time on Tuesday playing in the sun.
This was a reward for being one of the top performing teams in the nation. (Translate: their at the top of their game getting Java/PHP/Linux developers their dream jobs.)
The team ducked out of the office to enjoy the back bay of Newport Beach on a boat! What a great way to celebrate!
One of Workbridge Philly's network infrastructure recruiters, Jonelle, is celebrating a birthday today!
To celebrate, we got her Insomnia cookies and ice cream. Yum! (and look at that smile!)
Luckily, the entire Philadelphia office was able to share in her birthday treats.
Looks like someone was too slow with the camera...

We would like to take a moment to shout out the 28 candidates that were placed in the NY tech community this June...as of today!
That's a little more than 1 candidate placed with a new contract or fulltime position in our New York City office a day! If you didn't believe the saying #WorkbridgeWorks before hopefully news like this helps!
