Meet Jacob Wolf, the Practice Manager for our Embedded, Hardware, and Android team at Workbridge Orange County.
Originally hailing from Washington, Jacob moved down to sunny Southern California the summer of 2010, where he started his career with our LA office. Jacob started learning about the Open Source technologies under James Vallone's guidance before his big promotion to Orange County in January of 2012. In a way, it was a double promotion, because not only did Jacob get to run a team, he got to build it from the ground up. Jacob has been doing a phenomenal job and we've loved having him join us in the O.C.
Beyond recruiting and technology, Jacob loves his 2 dogs, Amp energy drinks, and living close to the beach.
Feel free to reach out to Jacob at (949) 833-1300 or at [email protected]
In an industry constantly fighting against the unpleasant stigmas typically associated with recruiters, it's always nice to know when our services are appreciated, and when we were really, truly able to help someone out.
This is why we love reviews. Even the negative ones are helpful. This great review is for the Workbridge Chicago office, from a fantastic candidate, Andrew!
Thanks so much for the kind words, Andrew. So glad you're enjoying your new job!

Vivian is a job-seeker who initially came into Workbridge Silicon Valley on October 11th. Vivian walked us through her portfolio and showed us the applications she has designed herself, which are very impressive! In addition to being a great visual designer, her awesome attitude and excitement about looking for a new job fuels our passion for helping people in their job search.
Vivian is always smiling and even when she is a little nervous, she always brings her A game! Any company would be lucky to have such a sweet, energetic, hard-working person as an employee. Workbridge Silicon Valley is working very hard for Vivian and we hope to find her a new home soon!
Ashley, Andrew, Vivian, and Scot We can't wait to update you on her status.

We are proud to say that last night we had a turnout of 175 attendees at our meetup! It was held at a really modern, open venue called ING Direct Cafe.
Many people mingled and talked tech while munching on Round Table pizza and rooting for the Giants (who WON by the way)!
It was great to see five interesting, startup companies give demos of their new products. What a fun night!
Gary & Debra from PlaceGuides giving their demo!
Coaster describes their idea of ordering bar drinks from a cell phone!
This teenager is sharing the app he invented for the presidential election!
The newest startup showing off their handmade decorations!
Gary from WellnessFX talks one-on-one with a curious attendee!
A Workbridge recruiter, Kate, enjoys the free pizza!
A true techie!
Welcome to our meetup!

This happy guy on the right is Evan. He called us a few weeks ago because he felt like he was in a dead-end design job, and wanted a career in the city, with more of a programming focus and a greater opportunity for growth.
Evan ended up speaking to Practice Manager, Marialice, (seen here shaking his hand!) and she had the perfect job for him.
The next day, he ended up taking a three hour car ride, at 6:30 in the morning, to come to Philadelphia and interview for a this position. He ended up getting the job, and it was exactly what he hoped for! It was a programming job, in center city, with a promotion and a raise. What could be better?
We were so happy to be able to help him. Best wishes for the new job, Evan!
Halloween is fast approaching, so it's high time every office stocked up on the one essential. That's right. Candy.
Workbridge Chicago takes that requirement very seriously. They have a plastic pumpkin full of chocolate (as seen above)...
One for Tootsie Rolls...
And yet another one for Wonka candies. Oh, and don't forget the non-Halloween candy dish of Jolly Ranchers.
Yeah... they might have a slight problem. Does your office have a favorite Halloween candy?
Feel free to Trick or Treat at Workbridge Chicago next Wednesday. As well as a handful of candy, you could walk out with a new tech job!
